Brazil produces some of the world’s finest Aquamarines – and this beautiful, 100 percent natural, 15.97 carat gem is one of them! Most aquamarine that comes out of the ground is so pastel that the blue can barely be discerned, and when it can be discerned, there is often a distinct green tint to the gem, in which case the stone must be carefully heated to remove the green tint. This stone represents a double whammy of goodness. It has a naturally occurring rich blue color with only the very slightest hint of green. It has not been heat treated in any way.
