Also featured are recordings by Resonance founder and Co-President George Klabin from the Village Vanguard on July 16, 1967, with Leroy Vinnegar and Frank Severino. This is an official release in cooperation with Les McCann. The Village Vanguard recording was previously released on CD in 1998 and has never been available on vinyl until now. This 3 CD set includes an extensive booklet with rare photos, liner notes by music journalist A. Scott Galloway and author Pat Thomas, plus quotes from Roberta Flack, Monty Alexander, Roger Kellaway, Joe Alterman, Emmet Cohen and more. Remastered from the original tape reels by the legendary Bernie Grundman.
