The black Roto X Cymbal Vault from SKB provides a safe and secure way to travel or store your valuable cymbals. This durable and well-made case is made from a strong, rotationally molded, "X" patterned polyethylene. It holds up to eight 22" cymbals and contains four padded dividers for protection. The padding eliminates pressure on the sound edges of each cymbal. The vault is accented by a small exterior storage pocket. The welded center post assures the cymbals stay in place during transit.
Rotational molding is a 3-stage heating process that results in evenness all around the edges of the case. The polyethylene material is inserted into a mold, and then gradually rotated until the material sticks to the edges of the mold in an even pattern. Once cooled, this plastic material forms a strong bond that minimizes sagging and potential collapse. This case is manufactured to such high standards that it comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects.
