There is a new clarity to her work, a disquieting transparency, even in the midst of the wild thickets of language for which she is known. A poet “at the border of her own allegory,” Brock-Broido searches for a lexicon adequate to the extremities of experience–a quest that is as capricious as it is uncompromising. In the process, she reveals, unsparingly, things as they are. In “Pamphlet on Ravening” she recalls, “I was a hunger artist once, as well. / My bones had shone. / I had had rapture on my side.” The book is laced with sequences: haunted, odd self-portraits; a succession of poems provoked by discarded titles by Wallace Stevens; an intermittent series of fractured and beguiling lyrics that she variously refers to as fragments, leaflets, and apologues.
Trouble in Mind is a book that astonishes us afresh at the agility and the uncanny will of language, which Brock-Broido is not afraid to follow where it may lead her: “That the name of bliss is only in the diminishing / (As far as possible) of pain. That I had quit / The quiet velvet cult of it, / Yet trouble came.” Even trouble, in Brock-Broido’s idiom, becomes something resplendent.

Thicker liner that stays in place and keeps water inside the tub

I replaced my old shower liner with this BigFoot clear liner, and it’s a noticeable upgrade. The material feels thicker than the typical cheap liners, which helps it hang properly instead of sticking to you while showering.
The weighted bottom is one of the best features. It keeps the liner in place so water doesn’t leak out onto the floor, even with a strong shower stream. Once it’s set up, it just stays put without constantly needing adjustment.
Installation was straightforward with standard hooks, and the reinforced grommets feel durable enough that they won’t tear easily over time. The clear design is also a plus because it keeps the bathroom looking brighter and less closed in.
It wipes down easily and so far hasn’t shown signs of mildew, which is important for something that’s constantly exposed to moisture.

Thick and clear

I like that this shower liner is clear, so you can still see the main shower curtain behind it. The magnets at the bottom help give it weight and keep it against the tub, so it doesn't blow around. The material also feels thicker than cheaper liners. So far, it’s been working well.

Bad Magnets

It fits, it does what it's supposed to, to keep water in, but the magnets at the bottom to keep it in place do not work at all. Maybe not all of them are like that, but mine was, all 3 of the magnets do nothing. It does have metal rings at the top which is appreciated, my last one just had slits in it and it was terrible. So that's a quality plus.
