Setting up the flags is straightforward: align them with the beep from your receiver collar to mark the correct locations along your fence line. For optimal spacing, simply take three long strides from one flag to the next, approximately every 6 to 10 feet. It's important to mark your entire fence line, including any areas that loop around obstacles like flower beds or pools. With 100 flags, you can mark up to approximately 1000 ft of your underground fence boundary.

After about two weeks, begin to phase out the flags to help your pet adjust to its new boundaries. Start by removing every other flag every two days, gradually reducing their presence until all are removed.
