artist biography
Hilmer Bengtsson, born 1925 in Ruda, is a Swedish artist.
Bengtsson studied at Académie Libre in Stockholm and at the Skånska målarskolan, as well as at Mogen Andersson's School of Painting in Copenhagen and during study trips to Italy, Denmark and Spain. Bengtsson is best known for his landscape paintings in oil. Select exhibitions include ones at the Kalmar Art Museum.
