“Raise your fist and yell!” In 1974, Alice Cooper shocked the rock world, scooped up his makeup kit (and any un-drunk six-packs that were laying about) and went solo.

Consummated by a legal name change from Vincent Furnier to Alice Cooper, “the man behind the mask” never looked back, writing and recording fully 21 studio albums across a roller-coaster career that is now nearly 60 years on in the business, with almost 50 of that on his own, calling the shots as a man and brand with a plan, often guided by manager Shep Gordon, one of the best in the biz.

Feed My Frankenstein: Alice Cooper, the Solo Years charts this action-packed era for Alice, beginning with the smash success of the Welcome to My Nightmare album and tour and hitting a nadir with the blackout years of the early ‘80s, where Alice nearly died from booze and hard drugs before being brought back by his faith in God and by the good graces of his wife Sheryl.

Next came Alice’s third wave of major success with Trash and Hey Stoopid, followed by a settling into regular record-making and touring duties, culminating in some of his best work quite recently, with Dirty Diamonds, Along Came a Spider and 2021’s Detroit Stories.

All of this is celebrated in Feed My Frankenstein, meticulously charted with timeline entries that are extensively explained and corroborated by a gallery of Alice’s band members throughout the decades. Helping bring the story to life is a smorgasbord of imagery, from live photography through to all manner of memorabilia, underscoring how visceral the visual has always been for this legendary showman.

Get on board and get a sense of how each and every one of Alice’s 21 solo albums work, along with an understanding of how absolutely and insanely jam-packed life has been for Alice since 1974 when he and Shep rolled the dice, pooled all their resources and took us on an all-guns-blazing tour of Alice’s sleeping brain. Indeed, once rolling, it just never stopped. Next station was Hell, followed by a visit to the asylum and then, down the road apiece, Brutal Planet, Dragontown and finally Michigan for some Detroit Stories. It’s all here in red, black and blue—bring your camera.

Poor socket design.
Style: Holder+Dash+Vent+Windshield
Overall this is a pretty decent phone mount. I have used it with both the windshield and vent mounts. The only problem I have is the design of the ball swivel. The socket contains a rubber piece to help increase the grip, but over time heat from the sun or the air vent makes the ball glue itself to this rubber piece. When you try to make an adjustment, the ball will not move in the socket and ends up breaking the socket. This is happened to me twice.

Great Phone Holder
Style: Holder+Dash+Vent+Windshield
I bought the version with the suction cup mount and I’m very happy with it. It holds my phone securely in place and doesn’t move around while driving. It’s also very easy to place the phone in the holder and remove it when needed. The suction cup sticks well to the dashboard, and you can position it so the phone stays in a safe, easy-to-see spot while driving. Overall, a great and reliable phone mount. Highly recommend!

Secure Fit, great hold
Very solid fit, doesn't wobble or shift positions while driving even on very bumpy roads. Magnet is very strong and sturdy, once phone is in position it's not going anywhere unless you remove it. Great product especially for the price.

exactly what i needed
I wanted to add to my original review 6 months ago This little mount has stayed on my Model X for 6 months now and it works GREAT! Very sturdy and the magnet locks on immediately every time I drive. it's handy on the top left of my screen for a WAZE map to be alerted for those issues on the road whenever I'm on a long drive. I'm really happy with it and I bought another one for my coworker's birthday. Uploading another video. I would highly recommend. ------- This mount for my Tesla is exactly what i needed for my road trip. I really don't need it to wireless charge as cable are faster anyway. Pros: - Very easy to install. doesn't test my IQ with all the unnecessary instructions. - NO NEED for 3M stickie adhesive on my car. I just simply don't want this in my car! Bad experience in the past and I'll return anything that needs to uses a 3M adhesive. - Very strong magnet grip. Bought it right before my 10 hour road trip, no issues at all. - connects to the top 2 angles on my model X, I will likely buy another mount for the passenger seat. It will also work with the bottom angle when I tilt the screen out. - And it seem to be able to bypass the Tesla cabin camera during AP/FSD. Down sides: - it would be great if it can also charge- however i would not want a cable dangling to the 12v port./ - price is a bit on the high side

Falls regularly
It works for a bit but falls from my screen on a very regular basis no matter how tight I tighten it or what position the phone is in. The magnet it strong, but the mount itself doesn’t hold on to the screen where it’s supposed to.
