To mark Record Store Day 2025, Universal Music Recordings and Island Records present a special reissue of Wonderland, the 2001 album from The Charlatans. Pressed on limited edition white and red vinyl, this newly expanded 2LP set features six bonus tracks not included on the original release—including the long-shelved Lo-Fidelity Allstars remix of “You’re So Pretty – We’re So Pretty.”
Originally released in September 2001, Wonderland saw The Charlatans exploring a more soulful, groove-driven sound. Recorded between sessions in Los Angeles with producer Danny Saber and completed at the band’s own Big Mushroom Studios in Cheshire, the album debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and spawned the Top 40 singles “Love Is The Key” and “A Man Needs To Be Told.”
With a legacy spanning over three decades, thirteen studio albums, and more than twenty Top 40 singles, The Charlatans remain one of Britain’s most enduring and consistently evolving bands. This anniversary edition of Wonderland offers a fresh opportunity to revisit a bold chapter in their catalog—now with added depth and new context.
