These works are quietly autobiographical, evoking "remembered landscapes"and marking the passage of seasons, times of day, and significant moments. Elissa lives and works on the North Shore of Boston, where she enjoys experiencing the natural world with her family. Her work is in private and corporate collections across the country.

About this collection: "Summer Candy Box"
This series is a celebration of summer’s lushness and intensity. I began each piece with a dominant color story and then developed several collages at a time, so, while each piece is vibrant and unique, they are connected by recurring shapes and bursts of color. Together, they form a mosaic of fleeting, sun-soaked moments— attempting to capture the verdant beauty and blistering heat of a fleeting New England summer.
