The piece is set with forty nine (49) pieces of French paste faceted into extremely brilliant old mine cuts! These old miners graduate in size from 1. 3mm to 2. 7mm. The silver bow has developed a rich, dark patina that has been left uninterrupted.

The silver bow has developed a rich, dark patina that has been left uninterrupted. Please notice the subtle, delicate millegrain detailing. The brooch is fastened by a handmade C-catch and round hinge with a pin that extends beyond the edge of the brooch. This is typical of brooches made during the Victorian era. The reverse is signed and hallmarked, "Sterling Germany KP". |

Faulty pieces, unable to assemble.
One of the pieces came unthreaded so I wasn't able to put it together. We received all of the parts but since one was faulty, assembly wasnt possible. Customer service from both the original seller and amazon were unhelpful. Wish I could get a replacement part because I was really looking forward to this in my kitchen to add to the coffee bar, but I'm going to have to return it.

Husband loved it!!
Got this for my husband on Christmas and he absolutely loves this. The instructions were straightforward on how to build and it took less than an hour to assemble. The lights are pretty cool. They change different colors and there's different settings with the remote. I will say he did have to nail these to the studs in the wall so it can hold his hefty drinks LOL
