The Mårten Hagström Signature M8M comes stock with a 5-piece maple/jatoba neck with a 29.4-inch scale length and KTS titanium reinforcement rods, so you can already tell it's primed for down-tuned metal mayhem. Best of all, the M8M's frets have received Ibanez's Prestige fret edge treatment, which rounds their ends off so smoothly that you'll barely know they're there.
