Granulated Cork — also known as cork grain — is a lightweight, eco-conscious natural material composed of ground cork bark, recycled cork stoppers, and cork off-cuts, repurposed from cork waste that would otherwise go to landfill. The 1mm–2mm grain size and low density of 100–120 kg/m³ make this a highly versatile material across industrial, horticultural, creative, and recreational applications. In garden soil, granulated cork improves aeration and moisture retention to promote healthy plant growth without synthetic additives. In film, theatre, and stage design, it simulates realistic sand, dirt, and terrain at a fraction of the weight of real materials, making it a practical and cost-effective choice for set designers and prop makers. Each cubic foot contains approximately 10 pounds of cork grain and would fit a 12in × 12in × 12in carton — note that cork grain may be a mix of compressed and loose grain, and orders of more than one cubic foot may be bulk packed into a single carton. Perfect for gardening and horticulture, film and theatre set design, industrial components and fillers, synthetic turf infill, oil spill absorption, playground surfacing, and any application requiring a lightweight, natural, and sustainable granular material.

Why Choose Granulated Cork — 1mm–2mm?

  • Recycled and repurposed cork waste — grinding and reusing cork bark, stoppers, and off-cuts keeps material out of landfills and puts it to productive use
  • Lightweight at 100–120 kg/m³ density — significantly lighter than sand, dirt, rubber, or synthetic granular alternatives across all applications
  • Improves soil aeration and moisture retention when mixed with garden soil, supporting healthy plant growth without synthetic additives or chemicals
  • Ideal for film, theatre, and stage set design — simulates realistic sand and terrain textures at a fraction of the weight and cost of real materials
  • Natural alternative to rubber infill for synthetic turf, providing a lightweight, biodegradable, and non-toxic playing surface
  • Absorbs oil quickly, making it effective for small domestic and industrial oil spill cleanup

Granulated cork outperforms rubber, sand, and synthetic granular materials by combining genuine lightweight versatility with a fully natural, recycled composition suitable for horticultural, industrial, creative, and recreational use.

Keeps my dog engaged and slows him down to eat his dinner. Good for gobblers!

My dog loves this toy! It’s how she eats everyday. Keeps her entertained and busy. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a bored pup.

Chewed up easily
Size: Extra Large, Color: Matisse green, Size: Extra Large, Color: Matisse green
Not durable for a heavy chewer, would not recommend. Didn't even have 24hrs. Our pup figured out how to get the food but couldn't figure out how to spin it. And had the flaps chewed apart in a short amount of time

Well-Made Toy, but Too Stiff and Large for Small Dogs
I purchased this product for my dog Woody to use as a treat-dispensing toy. While the toy is well-made and feels durable, it wasn’t the best fit for my small Maltipoo. The central roller mechanism is quite stiff and heavy, making it difficult for a small dog to rotate or engage with it effectively. In terms of installation and setup, it was easy and straightforward. The adjustable settings are a nice touch and allow for some control over treat release, which is great. However, due to the size and resistance of the roller, the toy seems more suited for medium to large dogs rather than small breeds. It offers good value for money considering the build quality, but I would recommend it only for dogs with enough strength to interact with the roller comfortably.
