生長於愛爾蘭都柏林，從小的志願就是成為一位藝術家。大學時主修平面設計，最喜歡的科目是兒童插畫。畢業後15年間，她擔任設計助理、為女性雜誌和教科書繪製插圖、兼職當畫畫老師，偶爾還在梅林廣場賣畫。2000年，她決定辭掉工作、打造工作室，並專注於創作，找到屬於自己的特色。除了創作圖畫書和兒童小說，她也是一位歷史愛好者，尤其喜歡研究不同時代、不同地域的人們如何生活、飲食和工作。她的丈夫麥可．恩伯利也是一位童書作家，他們目前定居於愛爾蘭威克洛郡格雷斯通市。

Looks nice, easy to install

This shelf is lightweight, looks nice, and was easy to install. It comes with a little level to help you install it properly. There are plenty of mounting holes to choose from, so it is easy to screw it directly into a stud, or to just use holes that are convenient for you. It comes with a plethora of mounting hardware.
I mounted mine a bit high up and chose to mount it upside down so that I wouldn't see the three screws that hold the shelf to the mounting bracket.
