The Middle Atlantic CWR-18-22SD Rack Cabinet is engineered to maximize storage efficiency while delivering dependable performance in restricted spaces. With 18U of rack height and a generous 20" depth, this wall-mountable cabinet provides a compact, solid solution for AV, IT, and equipment installations. Constructed from durable steel and finished in a sleek black powder coat, the cabinet offers a professional look that blends into home theaters, control rooms, server closets, and office environments. Designed to support up to 250 lb of gear, it ensures your equipment remains secure, organized, and accessible when you need it. Whether you’re mounting a network switch, AV matrix, audio processors, or compact servers, the CWR-18-22SD helps you optimize space without compromising reliability or accessibility.

  • 18U rack height delivers substantial, scalable space for a range of equipment, enabling you to consolidate servers, switches, patch panels, and AV processors into a single, neatly organized cabinet. This generous rack space reduces clutter and simplifies equipment management, wiring, and future upgrades.
  • 20" rack depth accommodates deeper devices while maintaining a compact footprint, making it ideal for installations with limited wall space. The deeper profile ensures you can fit components that require extra depth without compromising overall room clearance or access.
  • Wall-mountable design frees up valuable floor space and keeps gear secure in locations where floor racks aren’t feasible. This feature is perfect for studio control rooms, data closets, retail environments, and backstage setups where wall integration enhances accessibility and cable management.
  • Durable black powder coat finish provides a modern, professional appearance along with rugged resistance to wear, corrosion, and everyday use. The finish also helps protect the cabinet in dynamic environments, ensuring long-term aesthetics alongside reliability.
  • Heavy-duty steel construction with a substantial weight capacity of 250 lb gives you confidence that your equipment stays protected and stable. This robust build supports a variety of configurations while maintaining structural integrity as your rack evolves over time.

How to install Middle Atlantic CWR-18-22SD Rack Cabinet

  • Choose a sturdy wall surface and a location with adequate clearance for front and rear access, ventilation, and cabling. Confirm that the wall structure can support the cabinet’s weight when fully loaded, and prepare all necessary mounting hardware compatible with the wall type and studs.
  • Mark and locate the wall studs or solid anchors where the cabinet will be mounted. Use a level to ensure the cabinet will be perfectly plumb, as tilt can complicate equipment installation and cable management.
  • Secure the cabinet to the wall using appropriate fasteners and anchors for your wall type. Tighten hardware to the manufacturer’s specifications to prevent any movement or vibration that could impact equipment alignment over time.
  • Open the cabinet and install the equipment. Plan a logical layout that keeps frequently accessed devices near the front for easy maintenance, and group related devices to simplify cabling and future expansions. Align equipment with standard 19" rack mounting rails and secure with retreating screws or cage nuts as required.
  • Route power and data cables with care to minimize interference and maintain airflow. Use cable management practices that keep cables organized, labeled, and accessible for service. Close the cabinet doors and verify that all equipment operates correctly after the installation.

Fine for a man (with skinny wrists)
Color: Black/Gray, Color: Black/Gray
I have an older mens ironman which has gotten a little beat up and needs replacing. The band is much longer than I need. The metal clasp sits off-center on the underside of my wrist, closer to the part of my wrist which curves around to the front. The too-long strap sometimes flops around and catches on things. I couldn't find a smaller-band mens version, so I tried this "womens" watch (picking the most manly-looking one, of course). I like it better. The band fits my wrist much better, with the metal band in the middle and no flop. I also like that the watch is lighter and the face and band are smaller and less bulky, so it is less noticeable when I'm wearing it (cycling weight weenies will appreciate this). The face is still large enough to be easily legible and contains all of the same great features as my mens ironman watch, plus the newer versions now have an hourly chime, nice! Other info: my wrist is ~17.5cm or ~7.0" around. On this watch, I use the 6th out of 9 slots on the band. On my mens ironman, I use the 3rd out of 9 slots. Weight: this one = 28g, mens = 39g. Pics show comparison of my prior mens ironman with this new "womens" ironman. Photo order is confusing (couldn't figure out how to change that). They are: (1) side-by-side, mens on left, (2) mens band (wider and clasp is off-center on my wrist, end of band hangs over the edge of my wrist -- too long for me -- catches on things), (3) womens band (less wide, clasp is more centered on my wrist and end does hang over edge of my wrist), (3) womens watch (smaller, and looks new), and (5) mens watch, looking a little beat up.

Watch holds up in saltwater!
Color: Black/Gray
I bought this watch to use for my trip to the Galapagos Islands. I read two reviews that the watch does not hold up in salt water. I went snorkeling in the ocean 6 times, about 45 minutes each time. The watch did not leak. I did take precautions by keeping the watch under my rash guard and lowering myself slowly into the water. I also rinsed off my watch each time I snorkeled. I also bought this watch for the multi time zone feature by saving the time on the west coast, east coast and Galapagos time since I cannot change the time on my Fitbit until I land in an airport. I did not use any other features of the watch because I generally use my phone or Fitbit for an alarm or timer. The only complaint I have is that Timex now discourages changing the battery by the consumer. I changed the battery myself on my old Ironman watch. The new Ironman watch is fitted with triangular head screws. So I will have to purchase screwdrivers with triangular heads when it comes time to change the battery.

Reliable and durable, even in harsh conditions
Color: Black/Gray
This watch has served me very well. From Arctic waters to long distance races, it has held up to everything except one task I asked of it, which was my fault. This watch can handle repeated free dives to 12 ft deep. It cannot handle scuba diving at the same depth for an hour straight without needing to have the battery shorted to reset it. It fits well, lights up consistently and brightly enough to read without being blinding, keeps accurate time, and generally does everything I want it to.
