Simply screw the black coupling nut onto the QCC1/Type-1 valve of your propane tank, attach the other end to your appliance, and open the valve to your desired flame height. For added safety, always test for leaks using soapy water on all hose joints-if you see bubbles or hear hissing, stop using immediately.
