The KXL 4-A is a compact, flexible high-output 2-way active speaker engineered for professional users, combining precise directivity, high SPL capability, and advanced rigging for both vertical and horizontal array configurations. The low-frequency section features two 10” neodymium drivers in a bass-reflex design; the high-frequency section comprises a neodymium compression driver with a 4” titanium dome, coupled to a rotatable 100° x 25° True Resistive Waveguide. Transducers can be swapped (firmware update required). An integrated two-channel 3200 W Class D amplifier with proprietary DSP processing and remote management via RDNet enables optimal system performance. Its weatherproof, multifunctional enclosure supports versatile deployment for ground-stacked, pole-mounted, or flown applications.
The high-powered Class-D amplifiers, tailored for each transducer, deploy pristine sound with efficient heat dissipation at the lowest possible distortion, along with low power consumption.
High-end AD/DA conversion and onboard DSP for the best sound quality. Thanks to the proprietary RDNet networked management and control, every KX speaker provides in-depth remote monitoring through multiple sensors. The system engineer has immediate feedback of transducer status, fan speed, temperature, VU meters, limiters and much more.
This special waveguide design allows the deployment of multiple KXL 4-A for excellent control of directional characteristics. In difficult acoustic environments, intelligibility is significantly increased.
The 4-inch pure titanium dome NDT995 compression driver maximizes linearity, precision and long-term reliability. Its motor structure features a high-flux density neodymium magnet assembly, ultralight edge wound aluminum wire, a 4-slot phase plug, and a copper ring design to deliver exceptional power handling, sensitivity, and low distortion across its operating bandwidth. With a very low crossover point at 750 Hz, this allows a better impulse response, fast decay and superior efficiency. Lightweight and powerful, RCF neodymium drivers are a reference in performance and reliability.
The two 10-inch Hypervented woofer of the Precision Transducers line enable a compact, slim design while delivering high power. The magnetic structure features a large neodymium magnet, ensuring extremely high flux density within the gap. The newly designed aluminum basket and magnetic assembly provide excellent heat dissipation and significantly reduce power compression. Special air-forced ventilation is incorporated into the voice coil, magnet assembly, and basket, optimizing cooling efficiency. The M-roll surround and spider design ensure superb linearity and highly accurate sound reproduction.
RDNet is an advanced platform for integrated monitoring and control of sound systems - from small live and installed setups to massive arena systems. Based on a robust networked architecture, RDNet combines system control, line array design, and comprehensive audio measurements into a single powerful software package.
Engineers and technicians can intuitively manage every device on the network, from individual components to multiple groups. The platform provides full DSP control of compatible devices, with flexible configuration tools for perfectly tuning the system response at maximum speed. Users have real-time access and oversight of all key settings from a centralized interface.
