For The Calm Before, Elliott is joined again by producer David Chalmin, who co-produced Only Myocardial Infarction Can Break Your Heart, as well as the musicians who contributed to that album. The six masterpieces collected here fit the logical continuum of Elliott's previous work, but a deeper listen reveals the true strength of the music and lyrics, capturing the essence of what Elliott's art is all about - folk guitar virtuosity influenced by the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe; songs that start with whispered melodies and end with noisy storms; Elliott's deep, strong voice reaching new levels; and a tendency to avoid any well-known way of making music. With The Calm Before Elliott delivers another masterpiece, adding a precious stone to his path through contemporary folk music.

These paper bowls are actually really sturdy for disposable bowls! We use them for everything from cereal and soup to quick toddler meals, and they hold up well without getting soggy or flimsy. I also love that they’re microwave safe, which makes busy days a little easier. Great quality for the price and always handy to keep stocked at home!

My paper bowls of choice.

I have been a return buyer of these bowls and amazon basics plates, as they are sturdy and well made, even for liquids. I think there is a generous quantity for the price. I use for my to go meals on the way to work, so I dont have my whole kitchen accumulating in my car. They are good sized and you can fit a decent serving. Will keep buying.

Sturdy paper bowls, economical quantity purchase
Size: 300 Count
I previously bought 50 (?) of the paper plates to check the quality and see how well they hold up before making quantity purchases of other paper products. The bowls hold up well though I use them primarily for cut up avocados, sliced tomatoes, cole slaw, etc. I have used them in the microwave under 15 seconds to reheat toasted English muffins with marmalade with no problem. I use Pyrex glass bowls in the microwave for veggies and soups, so I am unable to speak on how well the bowls hold up with hot foods in the microwave.
I resisted buying and using paper bowls and plates for a long time; however, with my 80th birthday fast approaching, the fewer dishes I have to wash means less time standing on my feet.
I am an experienced shopper, and these quality paper products bought in bulk are the best buy I have found. I recommend them.

Strong and very convenient

These paper bowls are sturdy and hold up well even with hot or liquid foods. They don’t get soggy easily and are microwave safe, which makes them very convenient. The size is also great for soups, cereal, or leftovers. Good quality for disposable bowls and very practical for everyday use.
