Cocina Puerto Rico transports you to Borinquen--the Island of Enchantment--otherwise known as Puerto Rico. Or, to chef Mia Castro, home. Mia spent her early career working under prestigious chefs such as José Andrés, Thomas Keller, and Wolfgang Puck, and later cooked for exclusive clients worldwide as a private chef. In 2020, unexpectedly grounded in New York City, she found herself craving the foods of her native Puerto Rico. Over daily FaceTime calls (that sometimes stretched for hours) with her beloved Abuela Sara in San Juan, Mia collected the time-honored recipes that represent her family's homeland. Now, applying her professional knowledge, she has expertly adapted these dishes for you to re-create in any American home kitchen. Cocina Puerto Rico covers everything from salads, fritters, and soups to seafood, meat, and rice dishes to sweets, including re-creations of favorites from the island's traditional panaderías (bakeries). Classics like Abuela's Sancocho (Root Veggie Stew with Plantain Dumplings), Serenata de Bacalao (Saltfish Salad), Arroz con Jueyes (Stewed Crab Rice), and Tembleque (Creamy Coconut Pudding) bring the signature flavors of Puerto Rican cooking into your home, while dishes like Tropical Caprese Salad and Caribbean Passion Pie introduce some of Mia's modern tropical riffs. Featuring photography shot at Abuela's house in San Juan, iconic landmarks throughout Puerto Rico, and a design inspired by the sun-washed alleyways of Old San Juan, this book is a true trip to the Island of Enchantment. Whether you want to explore a new destination, savor a unique cuisine, or immerse yourself in vibrant culture and rich history--Cocina Puerto Rico is your way in.Shipping Notes

Wobbly and Poor Design
Size: 1-Panel
Update: nope! Not worth the money. My cat simply brushed against the divider, and it fell, knocking breakable things over. Not safe!
It serves it's purpose, but...the screws were basically glued to the packaging. It took me longer to get the screws out of the packaging than it did to put it together.
The assembly was easy. I am not mechanically inclined by any means, but the instructions, despite being very hard to read (I have over 40 eyes), were pretty simple.
Structurally, it is very wobbly. I think they should have designed it with a middle rod to keep it more stable. I find that the attachments to the rods are wobbly and should have been screwed rather than popped into an attachment hole without reinforcement. That would have also made the room divider more stable.
I have cats, but the material is easy to clean. I took a damp cloth to it, and it came right off. As far as see-through...I think it does a great job of masking theO other side of the room.. I just wish it was a little longer and closer to the floor stand.
I like that it came with extra parts. It's just a very cheaply made item, and I don't think the price for the item reflects how cheaply it is made, how wobbly and unstable it is, or the poor design.

Taking forever but worth it
Size: 1-Panel, Size: 1-Panel
Love the product. However, trying to take the screws etc out of its box, it’s almost impossible due to the adhesive inside it. I have neck and arm issues so for me it was even more difficult. Adhesive stuck to each washer and screw so I had adhesive all over my hands then I had to get it off of the items.

Great socks!
These are great low cut socks with padding in appropriate places. The shape keeps them from sliding down in my tennis shoes. I just wish more than three pair came in the pack.
