About Methyl Combo
How It Works
In its natural form, folic acid has to pass through four enzymatic conversions before becoming the biologically active form of methyl folate known as methyltetrahydrofolate. Similarly, vitamin B12 has to pass through three enzymatic conversions before becoming the active form methylcobalamin.A 2008 study by the World Health Organization concluded that, "...deficiencies of [Folate and Vitamin B12] may be a public health problem that could affect many millions of people throughout the world."
Methyl Combo bypasses these conversion processes and delivers the active forms of B12 and Folic Acid, methylcobalamin and methylfolate. When these two influential vitamins are in their bioavailable state, they pair up and contribute to the methionine synthesis cycle. This cycle takes the Methyl Combo vitamins and creates methionine, an essential amino acid. Methionine is required for the healthy function of cells, proteins, enzymes, neurotransmitters, metabolic function, etc.

Too many screenshot, not detail explain enough, like a lab manual than a book

Not recommended this book.
This book is approximately 270 pages long, but around 200 pages are comprised of screenshots, including IDA Pro screenshots, Virustotal result screens, lists of function names, and lists of DLL file names.
This book primarily shows you how to use the tools, which are illustrated mainly through screenshots of the tools' screens and results.
This is a well-structured lab manual that guides you through all the necessary screens and steps to locate the flag.
However, there are too many screenshots, and the concept is not explained in detail.
It is expected that you will have a basic understanding to follow the lab manual.
And this is not colour printing, and the photo was resized, making it a bit hard to read the screenshot details.
If you are at the GREM level, you may already be familiar with using the tools.
Unless you want a quick refresher on your lab skills.

MAoS - Malware Analysis on Steroids: Fighting Malware to the Death - Real-World Threats and Reverse Engineering Tactics by Uriel Kosayev is an outstanding and highly informative book. This is the second book I’ve read from him, after Antivirus Bypass Techniques, and once again I found the content to be extremely practical, well-structured, and insightful. Uriel has a way of explaining complex malware analysis and reverse engineering concepts in a way that is both approachable and deeply technical. The real-world tactics and examples make it not just a book you read once, but a reference you’ll return to often. Without a doubt, another excellent resource—I’m giving it 5 stars.
