Our SoftFLEX (COB) series of flexible LED creates a virtually seamless, diffused, soft output without the ability to see individual pixels unlike our traditional FlexLED strips. The innovative design shows minimal hot spots & dark spots making it ideal in locations where you may be able to see the LED or its reflection. The SoftFLEX 700 RGB+WW+CW is only 12MM in width which makes it suitable for narrow locations. Using chip-on-board (COB) technology the phosphor coating also acts as the diffuser creating almost pixel-free light output.
The 700 RGB+WW+CW arranges the Red, Green, Blue & Dual White pixels in a linear format which allows for a narrow 12MM width and at the same time providing convenient solder pads on top of the PCB. For comparison, our SoftFLEX LED 1134 RGB 24V & SoftFLEX LED 1008 Dynamic White (Bi-Colour) 24V arranges the pixels in a parallel format. The two different designs result in a very different visual effect in spite of both being part of the SoftFLEX family.

Indoor and weatherproof strips have double-sided tape on the back which makes installation as easy as peel n stick. Waterproof must be mounted using silicone (not provided).
Soldering Guidelines: Soldering iron should be between 360°C and 372°C. Please ensure not to heat each solder pad for longer than 3 seconds otherwise separation of the solder pads can occur.

Important: due to the high LED density, cutting exactly on the cutting lines (+/-0.2mm) is critical, otherwise you may damage the LED segment.
