Look, we get it. You’re building something so big it probably needs its own postcode and a flight plan filed with the CAA. The Tornado T5 3115 Pro is here to ensure that your cinematic rig or X8 heavy-lifter actually leaves the ground before your 6S battery gives up on life. It's big, it's beefy, and it has more torque than your first hatchback. If you're a spec-nerd who likes seeing numbers go up, you've hit the jackpot. If you're a skimmer, just buy it; your heavy drone is currently crying for help.

Why You Want It

Standard motors are for people who enjoy things like "efficiency" and "not scaring the local wildlife." This 3115 beast is for the pilot who wants to turn a 10-inch prop into a blender of destiny. If you're tired of your motors coming down smelling like burnt toast after a 30-second hover, these are the thermal-management kings you've been looking for. Plus, they look great in those "I spent way too much on this" build photos you post on Reddit.

Specs

  • Stator Diameter: 31mm (Thicker than your average motor)
  • Stator Height: 15mm (Tall enough to ride the big-boy rollercoasters)
  • Configuration: 12N14P (Standard magnet math for the mathematically inclined)
  • Shaft: Titanium Alloy Hollow Shaft (Weight saving, because every gram counts when you're flying a literal brick)
  • Magnet: N52H Arc Magnets (The sticky stuff that keeps things spinning)
  • Wire: 20AWG, 30cm length (Enough copper to make a scavenger's day)
  • Weight: ~115g (Hit the gym, it's a heavyweight champion)

In the Box

Compatibility

Designed for 7-inch to 10-inch props. Pairs perfectly with ESCs that don't cower in the face of high amperage. 6S-12S capable depending on your bravery, your KV choice, and your insurance policy.

Highlights

  • Internal Cooling: Because heat is the enemy of fun and the friend of magic smoke.
  • Smooth Bearings: Genuine EZO bearings, because "crunchy" is a texture for biscuits, not drone parts.
  • Big Stator Energy: Provides the low-end grunt needed to move massive payloads without breaking a sweat.

Notes

If you're planning on putting this on a 5-inch freestyle frame, please record the maiden flight. We want to see the moment it hits orbit. For everyone else, ensure your frame can actually handle the mounting pattern before you get the drill out.

Disclaimer

Not responsible for lost limbs, shattered prop records, or the sudden realization that you now need much more expensive batteries. Fly responsibly.

Still Here?

Stop scrolling and start soldering. Your oversized cinematic drone isn't going to build itself, and we both know you’re procrastinating by reading this. Buy the Tornado T5 3115 Pro and finally give your 10-inch props the torque they deserve. Your heavy-lift X8 project will thank you, even if your wallet won't.

Nice umbrella stand
This stand is sturdy enough for my 9 ft umbrella. I only used water to fill it so it can be moved if necessary. The umbrella is taken down if it gets too windy as it would be damaged. This would not be the fault of the stand, just the nature of living near the coast.

Umbrella base
This umbrella base comes with a hole in it, in order for you to put sand in / water. You could get water in it a lot easier than you could sand. There's a tiny hole and the sand does not go very well down that hole. I've had a hard time trying to get the sand in. It is round in shape which makes it easier in the wind to tip over. But all in all for the price it was okay.
