Beautifully crafted Leningrad acacia chessmen paired with a premium 50 cm walnut and maple board by Rechapados Ferrer – a bestselling set.

The Leningrad series comprises sets of quality, large chessmen available in ebonised boxwood, anjan, and here we have the acacia version. The dark pieces in this set are crafted from a beautifully grained wood that is slightly lighter than golden rosewood (sheesham). Acacia is a hugely versatile shrub, as its seeds are often used for food and a range of other products.

The Leningrad Series chessmen have become one of the most popular and best-selling on the Regency Chess website due to their quality of finish and weight. ‘The solid feel in hand’ is, in fact, a compliment we hear regularly from customers. With their height and detail, all the pieces look regal and elegant. These large pieces are perfectly weighted and naturally polished with plush flocked bases in green.

They are great for home and tournament use alike and look great on this 50 cm quality chessboard produced by prestigious chessboard maker Rechapados Ferrer of Spain.

Using high-grade walnut and maple veneers, this board’s construction utilised modern fabrication techniques has produced a product with simple lines and very critical detailing. The walnut grain of the playing squares is magnificent, and the board base is equally well finished using high-grade veneer. Perfect for showcasing your Leningrad chessmen.

Works so well! Using on face, for crows feet, 11 lines, forehead and especially under eyes. It is reducing pores, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, and giving glowing skin. A word of caution though - don’t use on eyelids because it will break off, thin out and damage eyelashes. Im sold. This is a game changer in my over 40 skin routine.
