What platform is included with the SCI-O180 Orbital Shakers?
The platform that is included with the SCI-O180 Orbital Shakers is the white anti-slip tissue culture flask platform shown in the image below. The retention bands shown in the SCI-O180-E video are not included, but that platform is the same platform.
How long is the power cord?
Four feet.
Is the motor in the SCI-O180 Orbital Shakers a brushed or brushless motor?
It is a brushed motor.
Are the SCI-O180 Orbital Shakers suitable for use in a CO2 incubator?
Generally not. The SCI-O180 Orbital Shakers are rated for operating conditions of +4 - 40°C and < 80% humidity. As CO2 incubators generally have a humidity which significantly exceeds 80%, it would not be compatible for most uses in a CO2 incubator. If it experienced a failure due to high humidity, it would not be covered under warranty.
The Orbi-Shaker CO2 and Extreme Environment Shaker are built to endure up to 100% humidity.
