Projector systems can deliver a truly cinematic viewing experience, but traditional models have very particular installation requirements that don't always work in every room. Fortunately, Ultra-short throw (UST) projectors, like this Epson EH-LS800, make upgrading your movie nights a lot simpler.

You can place this projector on a low table almost directly under your screen — saving yourself the trouble of ceiling mounting the projector and having to run long cables between the projector and your other equipment. And the EH-LS800 can get closer to the wall than most — it requires less than 18cm of clearance to fill a 120" screen.

A crisp, vibrant picture

The LS800 uses a powerful 4,000-lumen laser light source and a trio of high-definition LCD imaging chips to deliver a bright, colourful image even in rooms with ambient light. It also features Epson's 4K Enhancement Technology, which shifts each pixel diagonally by half a pixel and combines the two images to provide a sharper picture.

Built-in Sound by Yamaha

Most projectors include a very small speaker (or no speaker at all) with the expectation that you'll be connecting your own separate sound system. The Epson EH-LS800, on the other hand, has a built-in 2.1-channel speaker system custom-designed by sound experts Yamaha. You can of course still connect an external soundbar or surround sound system should you want to upgrade the sound further.

Smart Home Entertainment

The EH-LS800 includes the Android TV streaming platform, so you can access many of your favourite streaming services like Prime Video and YouTube without having to connect a separate source. And you can even search using your voice thanks to the remote's built-in Google Assistant.

Max out your gaming experience

With up to a 150" screen you can immerse yourself like never before. Epson’s Gaming Mode reduces input lag for a more responsive feel. Reducing the input lag to 20ms gives you a gaming advantage and means you’ll be quickest to respond in any scenario.

Versatile connectivity

There are three HDMI inputs for connecting other equipment, like a Blu-ray player or a laptop. And one input is compatible with Audio Return Channel (ARC) for added flexibility in connecting to a separate sound system. Two USB ports let you plug in a digital camera or thumb drive, while a third can power a streaming stick or other device. Want to connect headphones or external powered speakers? The EH-LS800 has a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack output and an optical digital output.
