⚡ Rear‑Wheel‑Drive Powertrain

The HKM-F7M employs a precision‑tuned 500 W brushless DC motor housed within the rear hub, delivering instantaneous torque and seamless acceleration from a standstill. Unlike front‑hub configurations, the rear‑drive architecture places the traction point directly beneath the rider’s center of gravity, improving grip on wet or uneven pavement. The motor controller uses sinusoidal wave modulation for whisper‑quiet operation, while regenerative braking recaptures kinetic energy during deceleration, subtly extending range in stop‑and‑go traffic.

🔋 Endurance Battery System

A 48 V / 24 Ah lithium‑ion pack delivers a massive 1,152 Wh of usable energy. The pack uses automotive‑grade 21700 cylindrical cells managed by an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors individual cell voltage, temperature, and charge balance. Over‑current, over‑discharge, and short‑circuit protections are built into the hardware, ensuring thousands of cycles with minimal degradation. Real‑world testing under a 165 lb (75 kg) rider on mixed terrain returned a consistent 47.8–52.9 miles (76.9–85.1 km) per charge in Eco mode. The integrated fast‑charge circuitry replenishes 80 % in approximately 3.5 hours, with a full charge achieved in under 5 hours via the included 2 A smart charger.

🛞 Patented Hydraulic Suspension

At the heart of ride comfort lies HKM’s proprietary dual‑chamber hydraulic suspension fork. Unlike traditional steel coil springs that compress linearly and rebound abruptly, the hydraulic damper uses non‑Newtonian fluid dynamics to adapt damping force in real time. Sharp pothole edges trigger a rapid‑compression bypass valve, while gradual undulations engage a firmer compression circuit, effectively isolating the deck from vibration. Independent laboratory testing recorded a 38 % reduction in transmitted vertical acceleration compared to coil‑spring forks of the same travel class. The system is sealed against dust and moisture, requiring no routine maintenance beyond a visual inspection every 500 miles (800 km).

🚀 8″ Solid Tires & Featherweight Frame

Maintenance‑free 8‑inch solid tires eliminate the risk of flats while providing predictable cornering behavior. The honeycomb‑pattern sidewall absorbs road buzz without the weight penalty of pneumatic alternatives, contributing to the scooter’s remarkable 40.8 lb (18.5 kg) curb weight. A one‑step folding mechanism collapses the stem to a compact 42.5 × 16.1 × 19.3 in (108 × 41 × 49 cm) footprint, allowing the scooter to slide into a car trunk, under a desk, or onto public transit with minimal effort. Aerospace‑grade 6061 aluminum alloy forms the deck and stem, balancing rigidity with class‑leading lightness.

Max Rider Load265 lbs (120 kg)

🎛️ Ergonomic Cockpit & Avant‑Garde Design

The handlebar integrates an IPX7‑rated LED multifunction display that presents speed, battery state‑of‑charge, riding mode, and trip distance at a glance. A textured thumb throttle and regenerative brake lever fall naturally under the rider’s fingers, minimizing fatigue during extended commutes. The stem’s continuous curve is milled from a single aluminum extrusion, eliminating weld points that could become stress risers. Below the deck, a full‑length RGB ambient light strip enhances side visibility after dusk, while the integrated 2.5 W LED headlight and rear brake light keep the rider seen in low‑light conditions.

🌐 Nationwide Service Coverage

Confidence extends beyond the product. With over 3,000 authorized service partners spanning 600+ U.S. cities, the HKM‑F7M is backed by the industry’s most accessible support infrastructure. Whether you need firmware diagnostics, a brake adjustment, or a routine inspection, a certified technician is never far away. Each partner carries OEM components and follows standardized repair protocols to preserve warranty integrity and vehicle safety.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What is the real‑world range on a single charge?
Range depends on rider weight, terrain, riding mode, and ambient temperature. Under the standardized test protocol (165 lb rider, Eco mode, 77 °F, mixed flat/gentle hills) the F7M achieves 47.8–52.9 miles (76.9–85.1 km). In Sport or Turbo mode, expect approximately 35–42 miles (56–68 km).
How does the hydraulic suspension differ from spring suspension?
Hydraulic dampers offer speed‑sensitive compression and rebound control, meaning they react softly to sharp impacts and firm up during slower, rolling undulations. This yields superior shock absorption without the “pogo” effect common with steel coil springs. The sealed cartridge also requires no maintenance for the life of the scooter under normal use.
Is the battery removable?
The battery is integrated into the deck for structural rigidity and weather sealing, but it can be serviced or replaced by any authorized service partner. On‑board charging is the primary method; a spare external charger is available as an accessory.
Can the solid tires be replaced?
Yes. The 8‑inch solid tires are bonded to split‑rim hubs. Replacement is straightforward and can be performed at home with basic tools or at any of our 3,000+ service locations. The honeycomb compound is designed to last over 1,500 miles (2,400 km) before tread wear becomes noticeable.
What is the warranty coverage?
The HKM‑F7M is protected by a 24‑month manufacturer warranty covering the frame, motor, battery, and controller. Consumable parts such as tires, brake pads, and grips are covered for 180 days. Please see the policy section below for full details.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. Enchanting
Format: Kindle
"Queen of Roses" by Briar Boleyn is a delightful and refreshing reimagining of the classic tale of King Arthur, with a captivating twist that places the spotlight on Morgan, a character who has often been overshadowed in traditional retellings. Boleyn's creative decision to shift the narrative perspective to Morgan breathes new life into the story, offering readers an intriguing and compelling look at the Arthurian world from an entirely different angle. One of the most commendable aspects of this book is its incorporation of Fae elements, which adds an enchanting layer of magic and mystery to the already familiar Arthurian setting. Boleyn skillfully weaves the world of the Fae into the narrative, creating a captivating backdrop against which the events of the story unfold. This addition not only adds depth to the world-building but also provides ample opportunities for twists and turns that keep readers thoroughly engrossed. However, while the book boasts numerous strengths, it does have one noticeable flaw: the characterization of Morgan. While it is reasonable to create a flawed and complex protagonist, it appears that at times, Morgan's character becomes overly difficult and hard to relate to. Her persistently negative perception of one of the main male characters, who is a potential love interest, despite his efforts to support and assist her, may come across as somewhat irrational and could test the patience of some readers. Striking a balance between a strong, independent character and one who can recognize genuine support and affection could have enhanced the overall reader experience. Nonetheless, the allure of "Queen of Roses" lies in its innovative approach to the Arthurian legend and its skillful blending of fantasy elements into a familiar narrative. Boleyn's evocative prose draws readers into a world where magic, destiny, and fate entwine, leaving us eager to uncover the mysteries that unfold within the pages. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

An action-packed dark romantasy
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.
