Pinnatus Batfish Platax PinnatusOverview:
The Pinnatus Batfish, with its striking, deep black body and vibrant orange outline, is a mesmerizing spectacle for any aquarium. Known for its unique, bat-like silhouette, this marine species adds a touch of elegance and mystery to your underwater collection.
Origin:
Native to the tropical waters of the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans, the Pinnatus Batfish thrives in coral reef environments. They are often found gliding gracefully near lagoons and outer reefs.
Feeding:
A varied diet is crucial for the Pinnatus Batfish, encompassing both meaty foods and marine algae. Offer them a mix of mysis shrimp, squid, clams, and high-quality marine pellets to maintain their health and vibrant coloration. Regular feeding in small amounts is recommended to mimic their natural foraging behavior.
Tank Mates:
Due to their peaceful nature, Pinnatus Batfish get along well with many reef-safe fish and invertebrates. Avoid housing them with overly aggressive species or very small fish that might be intimidated by their size. Ideal companions include larger angelfish, tangs, and some species of clownfish.
Aggression:
Pinnatus Batfish are known for their docile demeanor. They exhibit little to no aggression towards tank mates, making them a harmonious addition to a well-established aquarium.
Experience Level:
Caring for Pinnatus Batfish requires an intermediate level of experience. Due to their specific dietary and environmental needs, they are best suited for hobbyists with some knowledge in maintaining marine aquariums.
Water Parameters:
To ensure the health and wellbeing of your Pinnatus Batfish, maintain water temperatures between 72-78°F (22-25°C), with a pH level of 8.1-8.4. Salinity should be kept stable, ideally at 1.020-1.025 specific gravity. Regular water changes and monitoring are essential to keep these parameters in check.
Bring the awe-inspiring beauty of the Pinnatus Batfish into your marine aquarium and enjoy the tranquility it brings to your underwater world.

Great puppy teething toy!
My bernedoodle loved this toy. Long after all her teeth had fallen out, she still plays with it! It was great to be able to freeze it and let her gnaw on something that would help her feel a little better too! We both agree that this was extremely helpful and fun!

Golden Retriever puppy did not care for it but other breeds very well might
These seem to be very well made but our Goiden Retriever puppy was only interested in it for less than one minute. Before you buy i would scan the great reviews to see what breeds these really appeal to. I am sure there are some!!

Smells of smoke
The plastic smells of tobacco smoke, my puppy took one stiff and walked away. I wash them with soap trying to get the smell to go away, no change. My dog still would not even try to teethe on this. I do not recommend.

Wonderful teething toys for small teeth!
We bought these for our new three chihuahua babes and they love them so much! For now, since the babies still get really cold, we just do them as is and are going to hold off on freezing them for a bit but it's still great! They love to chew on either end and the different textures of both the rag and the different ones on the bone itself, keep them really entertained.
