Empires of the North: Egyptian Kings is the fourth expansion for the game, introducing two new faction decks. The Hatshepsut deck represents a clan from the Nile Delta, focusing on making Field cards more fertile and effective by assigning workers to them. The Amenhotep deck is themed around the passage of time, where locations in the deck may decline and be discarded at the end of each round unless the player invests resources to maintain them in their Empire. Designed by Joanna Kijanka, who has previously created highly praised expansions for the game, this expansion includes 72 cards, a punch board, and an additional wooden action pawn.
