South Bend's SFI Approved Competition Dual Disc is built using all cryogenically treated steel components to ensure the ultimate in strength. The center plate is lugged to fit the flywheel, which features a bronze/feramic insert that can be removed if the clutch needs to be rebuilt at a later date.
The clutch discs feature a feramic material that has shown to have superior holding power in comparison to ceramic, but not heat up as ceramic can, allowing the clutch to be slipped, perfect for sled pulling and racing.
