The Roman Republic is nearing its end, but not before a fierce power struggle between Caesar and Pompey. As a player, you will command your legions, strategically deploying them to crucial battlegrounds to seize control of the provinces and claim the title of ruler of the republic.
Players draw tokens from a bag to determine their starting forces and to replenish losses. You'll allocate resources to each province, gaining tactical advantages as you vie for control of the republic.
The game also includes three expansion modules: poison your opponent, deploy powerful Centurions, and use underhanded tactics to gain the upper hand in Expansions of Rome.
