Power Grid: The Brazil/Spain & Portugal Expansion introduces new challenges with two unique maps, and it comes in a box designed to store other Power Grid map expansions.
Brazil: In this map, power providers favor biogas for electricity production. Players should treat garbage power plants as biogas-fired power plants and consider garbage resources as biogas tanks.
Spain & Portugal: Here, the dynamics of power production take two completely opposite directions. Uranium becomes crucial, but only later in the game. During "Step 1," no new uranium enters the resource market, but in "Step 2," uranium supplies increase rapidly. Simultaneously, three large wind-power plants will appear on the market, creating a strategic clash of interests.
This expansion requires the Power Grid base game or Power Grid Recharged to play.
