The course structure is designed to give you the information you need to get on the water safely, have fun and learn the technique of paddleboarding.
During the course you will be given an introduction to how the weather and environment affects you, how to carry the board and paddle, paddling technique, different types of turns, self rescue, how to fall safely as well as how to plan expeditions and the basics of stance in surf.
The 2 hour course is run in shallow water, usually from Worthing sea front, on calm light wind days. You can choose purchase a lesson in a Group of up to 5 other students (maximum six students in total), or on a 1:1 basis for 2 hours at £150 for the session.
The £150 option is for 2 people for a 2 hour group lesson (i.e. £75 per person), there could be up to 6 students in total in the group.
