This medium grade is ideal for removing marks and corrosion, together with paint and varnish when used with a chemical stripper, and is suitable for preparing wood for the first coat of paint along with smoothing raised grain. Scrunched-up wire wool can also be used to block up small holes and cracks in a property to prevent rodents from entering without the use of harmful chemicals, poisons, or traps.
