The step pads of these running boards are also unique, featuring a two-part construction. They are comprised of a polyethylene tread base and a metal plate overlay. The poly treads protrude through the overlay, providing an aggressive accent and non-skid traction for a safe stepping surface. The stainless steel plates also help protect the running boards from scuffs, scratches and rust caused by frequent foot traffic. AscentStep running boards offer excellent rigidity with their high-strength steel construction. I have fair to light combination skin. I use this on my body, but not my face. It goes on very thick and white, but sinks into the skin lightning fast (within just a few seconds), and it becomes completely invisible. It leaves my skin moisturized and looking and feeling silky. Best body sunscreen I've ever tried. And I love that it is water resistant! I find it too heavy and moisturizing to use on my face, but people with dry skin would probably love it for the face, too. I imagine it would be fantastic for them under makeup. The price per ounce is very reasonable, making it a great value.

It protects from the sun without a doubt and lasts well. The downsides are that it leaves a greasy and "white" residue that no matter how much you rub it in.....it stays there. I use it when I am working outside and not planning on going anywhere anytime soon.
