The Denon DL-103 Gold is a special-edition low-output moving-coil (MC) cartridge released in 1994 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Denon. It is based on the classic DL-103 broadcast cartridge, originally designed in 1962, but upgraded with gold-plated 6N (99.9999 % purity) copper coils, a heavier metal alloy housing for enhanced rigidity.
This is a low output moving coil cartridge therefore you will need additional gain if you use a standard MM phono pre-amplifier.
Condition:
- This is a used item.
- This DL-103 gold has been tested and it works and sounds great! It has no faults.
- This DL-103 gold shows signs of use and age. Please see photos.
- This DL-103 gold comes with its cantilever / stylus protector.
- This DL-103 gold comes in a Denon box. This is NOT the orignal box, the box is for a different denon cartridge, however it is still perfect for protecting your new cartridge while not in use / during the shipping process.
- This sale is for the photographed DL-103 Gold and Denon box only. Nothing else is included in this sale.
