"Whilst many fans were hoping for a bumper boxset reissue of the Foo Fighters debut album in its 30th year the band instead opted to put together a simpler reissue which included only six previously released B-Sides and extra tracks. This new edition was first released on October 1st exclusively in Japan, on CD only, just in time for the bands three headlining shows in the country.

Now today (October 17, exactly 31 years since Dave entered the studio to record the album) Foo Fighters have announced a Double LP edition which is pressed on a limited edition Mint Vinyl.

According to the band the release is limited to just 1,995 copies worldwide which are for sale only in independent record stores. Most of these seem to be limited to the United States but some fans have been lucky elsewhere with copies found in Germany and the United Kingdom among others.

As previously mentioned this 30th anniversary edition features no new content, it is instead essentially a re-packing of the long out of print Australian Tour Edition  of the album, featuring an additional six tracks which were all previously released as B-Sides on other releases."
