About: Melanie Max’s semi-abstract original landscape paintings are inspired by the British coast and wetlands. “I think of my paintings as found landscapes and as visual journeys. They evolve on the canvas and the focus of the painting gradually comes into view. I make visual journeys in paint to find the landscapes where I feel most at home. I find the landscape I need after a journey into my minds eye, making sense of the marks and colours on the canvas along the way. Each new mark suggesting a new path to travel, sometimes bringing me to a crossroads where I sit and study the subtle shifts of light and colour on the horizon to decide which direction to take. It is a meditative escape and part of my creative process. I begin with a journey and my journey ends when I have found the landscape where I want to be."

Artist Info: Melanie Max works from her studio aboard her narrowboat with views across the washes in Cambridgeshire. Originally from Cornwall, her life’s path gradually took her to the flat lands of the Fens and closer to her favourite coastline, the Norfolk coast. Melanie has a fine art degree from Chelsea School of Art and after a career in web design she now completely focuses on painting. Melanie’s work features in private collections and has exhibited widely in the UK. She also participates in the annual Cambridge Open Studios.

I Exclusively Use ONLY Hiipoo Products - Simply the BEST!

I'm just about to purchase this product for the 3rd time. I simply cannot believe how well this product works for me. In the past, I had a $2k Ricoh sublimation printer, using Sawgrass ink, and specialty sublimation paper. That expensive Ricoh printer didn't last over 2 years. I took such great care of that machine, and it was terrible. Now, I use an Epson-2800, and I ONLY USE Hiipoo ink and paper, because it is THE BEST! Hiipoo inks work excellent in Epson printers, but you must initially start with their ink, you cannot add the ink to whatever you already have in your printer. This paper is compatible with Epson printers. I will exclusively only use Hiipoo products. The quality is unmatched. The performance is superior. The value is outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend Hiipoo products. I am not a paid spokesperson, not do I receive compensation for this review. I just own a business that provides laser engraving and sublimation printed items. You cannot go wrong using this sublimation paper. Buy their inks too, the quality of the printed items are exceptional. Excellent thickness of paper. It's durable, dries quickly and the color quality is excellent! Love Hiipoo products!!!

Great paper!

I love Hiipoo sublimation paper!Colors come out crisp and clear. And so bright and beautiful! The pattern on the back is a real big plus also. This paper is great quality, not flimsy, thick enough that it's easy to use and printers don't have problems picking it up.

Quality Paper Gives Great Results

Works well for Sublimation done thru Ink Jet Printers. Quality material and the finished heating provided great results in my projects. I used in conjunction with the Hiipoo Sublimation Ink and they made beautiful results with no issues. Thank you.
