This has a beautifully toned stag handle. The blackened fittings are nickel silver throughout and show a wonderful patina. The toned silver pommel cap with acorn tip is slightly loose to the stag handle. The hunting stag head insignia on the handle has a darkened bronze tone, with great details. The blackened fittings are nickel silver throughout and show a wonderful patina. The toned silver pommel cap with acorn tip is slightly loose to the stag handle. The hunting stag head insignia on the handle has a darkened bronze tone, with great details. The stag footed crossguard shows the same patina and tone as the pommel cap. This is true as well for the clamshell guard, seen just under the crossguard. The scabbard is black leather with toned silvered steel fittings that are all very good. The brass acorn decoration looks great. The lower scabbard fitting is also in very good condition with no dents. The lower fitting is marked under the large staple with the number “21”. The blade is excellent, with a terrific triple engraving. The backstrap is nicely etched. Each side of the blade shows a great hunting motif. One side shows a dog hunting foxes, and the other shows running stags. The WKC logo can be seen under the crossguard. This comes with a beautiful silver and green correct dagger knot. This is a great example, that is in excellent condition.
