600mg Solid Ashwagandha. Straight-Up Label. Everyday Stress Buster.

Apollon Ashwagandha KSM-66 keeps it simple: grab one of the best-researched ashwagandha extracts out there and dose it right for real results in stress and performance. No hiding it in a blend or using weak powder—this gives you 600mg of ashwagandha root extract standardized to 5% withanolides in one capsule. That's smack in the range from human studies on stress, cortisol, recovery, mood, and staying tough.

Ashwagandha acts as an adaptogen, helping your body handle physical and mental stress without revving you up or knocking you out. Studies show it tweaks the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis—that's the system controlling cortisol and how you react to stress. When cortisol stays high too long, it messes with recovery, sleep, mood, workout readiness, and even your body comp. By dialing that back, you often feel more focused calm, better at shrugging off stress, and quicker to bounce back from tough workouts or busy days.

That 600mg dose is key—it's no skimpy amount. Studies on ashwagandha extracts, including KSM-66, often use 300mg twice a day or 600mg total. That's linked to real drops in stress feelings and cortisol, plus better well-being, sleep, and sometimes strength, recovery, and guy hormone markers. At 5% withanolides, 600mg delivers 30mg of the active stuff—way better than cheap, unstandardized herbs.

KSM-66 stands out as a top branded ashwagandha, made from the root

Apollon KSM-66 Ash by Apollon Nutrition contains 600mg Ashwagandha Root Extract, a clinical dose for health and performance.

Key Highlights

  • 600mg Ashwagandha Root Extract per capsule—that's at the top of the range from most studies on standardized ashwagandha. Makes this one legit, not like those weak 150-300mg doses in basic wellness stuff.
  • Standardized to 5% withanolides—those are the key compounds that drive ashwagandha's stress-busting effects. Gives you consistent results and ties right back to the research, better than plain root powder.
  • Just one capsule a day—easy to stick with, and that's huge because supplements only help if you take 'em regularly.
  • Real root extract, not cheap unstandardized powder—extracts pack in the good stuff for reliable strength, unlike low-end options that brag big numbers without real quality.
  • Solid support for handling stress—ashwagandha tweaks your stress system, especially the HPA axis and cortisol. Users often feel steadier energy and tougher against stress, not some quick buzz.
  • Helps with recovery for athletes—intense training and stress hit similar spots. By easing stress, it makes you feel more ready between sessions.
  • Handy during cuts—low calories can crank up tiredness, crankiness, and bad sleep. A good adaptogen dose like this helps without piling on stims.
  • Stacks great with other stuff—works well with pre-workouts, creatine, hydration, sleep aids, and protein. It tackles the stress side without overlapping.

Apollon KSM-66 Ash by Apollon Nutrition contains 600mg Ashwagandha Root Extract, a clinical dose for health and performance.

Who Is This For?

  • Strength folks in heavy training phases feeling the drag outside the gym. When squats pile up, stress spikes, and recovery stalls, 600mg standardized ashwagandha helps regulate stress and build toughness.
  • Lifters dropping fat who need a hand with diet stress. Cuts amp up grumpiness, mess sleep, and crank fatigue—a full 600mg ashwagandha root extract fits right in.
  • Busy types training early or late, wanting calm without more buzz. Supports stress handling sans caffeine, perfect if you lean on coffee or pre's and need balance.
  • Night trainers skipping stims but wanting real supp help. Not a pre, but its stress and recovery research makes it a smart no-stim add for evening sessions.
  • Guys chasing overall health, gym gains, and hormone smarts. Studied for stress, cortisol, strength, recovery, and male health markers—solid daily base.
  • Folks bouncing back from burnout where everything feels tough. Not a quick stim fix; better for rebuilding stress handling and daily chill over time.

How to Use

Take 1 vegetable capsule daily with water. Pick a time you can keep up long-term—consistency beats perfect timing. Morning fits for routine folks, evening for recovery types. Sensitive to herbs? Take with food; otherwise, fine solo. No need to half it—it's one capsule and stim-free, but newbies, watch how you feel first days. Stacks great with creatine, electrolytes, protein, and pre-workouts—different vibes. No cycling like stims; daily long-term is where it pays off. Keep in cool, dry spot with lid tight. On thyroid, mood, immune, or sleepy meds? Talk to your doc first.

What to Expect

Day 1? Pretty low-key. You take it and probably don't feel a big shift—it's not caffeine, brain boosters, or sleep pills. First few days, most notice stress doesn't bite as hard, with no downsides. By days 7-14, some feel smoother moods, less hassle, or better handling pressure. Weeks 2-4, it clicks: stress is easier, sleep and recovery pick up, and daily grind drains less. Point is, no instant wow—it's about going from worn out to feeling solid and ready.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much ashwagandha is in each serving of Apollon Ashwagandha KSM-66?

Each 1-capsule serving provides 600mg of ashwagandha root extract standardized to 5% withanolides. That puts it right in the range most commonly used in published human research on stress, cortisol, and recovery-related outcomes.

Is 600mg a strong dose for ashwagandha?

Yes. For standardized extracts, 600mg is generally considered a clinically relevant daily dose and sits at the upper end of the most common research range. It is substantially more meaningful than the token doses often used in lower-end herbal formulas.

Will I feel this product right away?

Probably not in the way you feel caffeine or a pre-workout. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen, so the benefit is usually gradual—better stress tolerance, steadier mood, and improved recovery quality become more noticeable over 2-4 weeks of daily use.

Can I take this with my pre-workout?

Yes, and that is one of the best ways to use it in a broader stack. Pre-workouts help drive acute output, while ashwagandha helps manage the background stress and recovery burden that can build up from heavy training and stimulant use.

Is this product stimulant-free?

Yes. Despite the metadata noise in the source file, the verified active formula contains only ashwagandha root extract with no caffeine or stimulant ingredients. It is a stim-free capsule intended for daily use.

When is the best time to take Apollon Ashwagandha KSM-66?

The best time is the time you will take it consistently every day. Morning and evening both work well; if herbal extracts ever bother your stomach, take it with food.

Do I need to cycle this product?

No standard stimulant-style cycling is required. Ashwagandha is typically used as a daily foundational supplement, and consistency is important because the most noticeable benefits are cumulative rather than immediate.

What makes a standardized ashwagandha extract better than generic powder?

Standardization tells you how much of the key bioactive compounds the extract contains—in this case, 5% withanolides. Generic powder can vary widely in potency, which makes it harder to predict whether you are getting anything close to the amount used in studies.

Who should talk to a doctor before using this?

Anyone pregnant or nursing, under 18, taking thyroid medication, or using medications that affect mood, sedation, or immune function should check with a healthcare professional first. Ashwagandha is a real bioactive botanical, not just a neutral plant powder.

What are the inactive ingredients?

The disclosed inactive ingredients are the vegetarian capsule materials: hypromellose and water. That keeps the formula simple and aligned with the single-ingredient design.

Just as enjoyable as Vol 1, if not better.
Batman and Robin Vol 2: Batman vs. Robin contains Batman and Robin #7-12. Just as in Vol 1, the art is all done by Frank Quitely and is very enjoyable. This continues the story of Batman and Robin Vol 1 which raps up in Vol 3 and is my favorite instalment of the trilogy (if you want to call it that). The story has some twists and turns and the reveal at the end is totally worth it, especially since there are clues dropped along the way. As I have said in my other reviews, this is part of the Grant Morrison Arc that will be detailed below, but the Batman and Robin trilogy could be read alone outside of the other stories. This picks up from Vol 1 after the events of Batman: R.I.P. and Battle for the Cowl. Again these are my favorite B&R as the dynamic between the two is very enjoyable to read and watch and the story is engaging. Pros: -B&R are amazing -Art is solid -New characters are fantastic -Original story line -So many little clues as to what is going on -Grant Morrison Cons: -Grant Morrison -Relatively Short -Vol 3 (see review) *Morrison's Story Arc is as follows: Batman and Son (Included in Black Glove Deluxe Edition) Batman: The Black Glove Batman: RIP Batman: Batman and Time (or Final Crisis but still needs 701 and 702) Batman and Robin Volume 1-3 Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne (Technically happens during Batman and Robin Volumes 1 and 2) Batman Incorporated (and Leviathan Strikes) Batman Incorporated Vol 1: Demon Star (New 52) Batman Incorporated Vol 2: Gotham's Most Wanted (New 52) A readers guide to Grant Morrison's Batman is a great help if you are looking at the whole series.

An Excellent Continuation For The New Dynamic Duo
I really loved Batman and Robin Volume 1. This arc is my favorite part of the Morrison Batman run, even though I really struggle with and don't enjoy everything that comes before it. But it's worth it for this duo of Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne. Volume 2 gets off to a slow start with a few issues about a deranged Batman resurrected by a Lazarus pit. Readers who haven't read Morrison's other work, including Final Crisis, will be confused by what occurs here. But the gist is that Dick and Damian learn what the readers already knew, that the corpse they thought was their father wasn't his (instead a failed clone from a Darkseid experiment), and that their father is out there somewhere. The art in these initial issues is also a bit rough and lower in quality, which is the only reason I brought this down to 4 stars. The second story in the remainder of the volume though, that pits Damian against Dick and tests Damian's loyalties is a great continuation of the Batman and Robin story and might be one of the best parts of the series. Damian may be rude and sociopathic, but this arc gets to let him shine a bit and show that he really does care about his big "brother" Dick Grayson, and about his father's legacy. As a bonus, there is a running mystery about the duo's new ally Oberon Sexton, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I won't spoil the ending, but it's a truly fun reveal that makes you rethink Sexton's role in the adventure in an interesting way. Again, this is a great story for Batman/Dick Grayson/Damian Wayne fans that I strongly recommend.

Not Perfect, But Loved It Anyway!
Format: Hardcover
The cover and title of this collection are slightly misleading, but it's still a fantastic read. Robin isn't willingly trying to kill Batman, however, I'll let you find out what's really happening yourself. I love the new Batman and Robin team of Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne. It's a fun change of pace to have a more lighthearted Batman, and a bratty and brooding Robin. This is the second collection of the new Batman and Robin series, but I still enjoyed it without having previously read all of the first volume. The Highlights: Batwoman, a zombie Batman, Talia al Guhl, Slade Wilson, the mysterious Mr. Sexton, the history of the Wayne family, and the beginning of a Joker story line. The new flying Batmobile is awesome. I love Grant Morrison's writing, and here he writes a fun and interesting Batman adventure. Things to Consider:There are two different artists in this volume. The first half is decent, and the second half is more unique with some great pen and ink work. I enjoyed the second part a lot, but it's not quite the classic super hero style art you might expect. This may not be a groundbreaking story, but this series is great. So if you're interested in Batman and Robin, you won't regret checking this out.

Wow! Great Stuff!
Format: Hardcover
Before I read this book, I had just read the other recent Batman trade, "Life After Death" by Tony S. Daniel, and I was seriously disappointed. I really struggled to get through it. So the next night, I started to read this one, Batman vs Robin, and I couldn't put it down - I almost read the whole book in one sitting (if it wasn't late at night, I probably would have finished it). It just confirms, once again, what a great writer Grant Morrison is. In this trade, you get two main story arcs (with a nice "cameo" by Batwoman in one story) and the search for Batman really starts to develop, here. I enjoyed Volume 1, but IMO, this one is far superior.
