In Theology Made Practical, Joel R. Beeke, David W. Hall, and Michael A. G. Haykin declare the significance of John Calvin’s life and ideas—particularly his contributions to systematic theology, pastoral theology, and political theology—as well as the influence he had on others through the centuries. With focused studies related to the Trinity, predestination, the Holy Spirit, justification, preaching, missions, principles of government, welfare, and marriage, this book demonstrates how Calvin’s thought has been, and still is, a dynamic wellspring of fruitfulness for numerous areas of the Christian life. More than 450 years since Calvin experienced the beatific vision, his thinking about God and His Word still possesses what our culture passionately longs for—true relevancy.

______________

Joel R. Beeke is president and professor of systematic theology and homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, and a pastor of the Heritage Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. David W. Hall is senior pastor of Midway Presbyterian Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. Michael A. G. ______________

“Theology Made Practical is written by scholar-pastors about another scholar-pastor who studied and wrote as a theologian but labored and served as a pastor. The authors ably show that Calvin was not only concerned with theological precision but also with its practical value, a theology that ‘aim[s] at the needs of the soul.’ I highly recommend this insightful—and edifying—work on the great Reformer.” Joel Kim, president, Westminster Seminary California

Perfect for my company's temporary needs
Color: Gray, Size: 72" wide, 66" Tall
My company ordered multiples of these dividers to separate desks in much smaller temporary space we had to use after our offices were flooded in August 2023. (Yeah, I know - just getting around to reviewing them now!) These fit the bill perfectly. Granted a bit of privacy so we weren't staring at the employee next to us. Easy to put together; excellent value.

Okay for privacy, not a sound wall
Color: Gray, Size: 72" wide, 66" Tall
Ordered this for a home office, it is easy to put the panels together, one man job. They look nice, stand up well, and gave privacy and seperation. You can tack a white board to them. These panels have absolutely no sound reducing properties that I can ascertain, so if you are ordering them as 'accoustic" type panels you will probably be disappointed. For making a cubicle they perform well.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND
Color: Dark Gray, Size: 72" wide, 66" Tall
I got this primarily for the acoustic wall feature but it does not block any sound whatsoever. It's just a mobile, overpriced wall. The only privacy it provides it blocking you from view but the same could be done with some cardboard for a fraction of the price. Not only is it not as described but they are requiring that I pay not only to ship it back for return but is also requiring that I pay for the shipping label. So I will be paying around $150 to get my $400 refund. Unacceptable. DO NOT BUY
