The front of the bracelet is formed from seven graduated panels each centred by a luminous opal. Surrounding each opal is a halo of rich rubies, their vivid crimson tones providing a striking contrast to the opals' ethereal glow.

The use of 5 carat gold adds an extra layer of interest. Far less commonly encountered than higher carat alloys, it gives the bracelet a unique character and a soft cooler hue.
