Asagi Grade A Koi Carp Cyprinus CarpioMany koi keepers argue that Asagi is the greatest variety of koi because it was the first recognised ornamental carp, that is, the first koi variety. The ancestor fish of koi carp is the Magoi (mah-GOY) wild carp which was a staple food in many Japanese diets for hundreds of years before the first koi came to be. The Magoi black carp was first brought to Japan in roughly 200BC by an invading force from China.
It was not until about 160 years ago when Magoi farmers decided to breed the fish as ornamental fish. At that point, they had been farming Magoi for over 2000 years since it was introduced to Japan. Before then, the occasional Magoi had been born with mutations causing colour changes in the skin and scales, but the farmers considered these to be defects. Therefore, the fish were removed from the gene pool so that these defects would not continue to be present. However, some farmers decided to keep these fish as trophies and as "collectors’ fish" since they looked different and more interesting than the standard Magoi. This then led to local farmers sharing their "defective" Magois and competing with each other over who has the best fish. As you can imagine, the farmers then decided to start breeding these Magoi so as to get more mutations that could be shown off. These farmers were in fact the first koi breeders.
It did not take many generations of these mutated Magois before the typical pattern that is associated with modern Asagi started to crop up. Once this pattern started to become popular, so did the practice of keeping these fish as pets. More and more people wanted them, and not all farmers. Thus begin the market for Asagi fish and with it came the hobby of koi keeping.
So, Asagi was the first koi, and it was the fish that started the whole hobby. The name Asagi literally translates as “setting sun” . But why are they not in the Gosanke trio then? Mostly because many breeders and koi keepers believe them to be too plain and boring and too alike the wild carp to be part of the trio of the "best" koi. It is the belief of many that that title should go to more exciting and colourful koi, but many also appreciate the simplicity of a beautiful Asagi and respect its amazing history. Without the Asagi, we would not have the many koi varieties we have today.

Good grip glow ball
Style: Recharges, Size: Medium
Love this glow in the dark Chuck IT. Get a black light flashlight to charge the neon instantly. Good texture gives the dog better grip than the smooth all white glow in the dark chuck it balls.

Finally a Toy My Pitbull Hasn’t Destroyed in 5 Minutes
Color: Blue+Red, Color: Blue+Red
I have a 65 lb pitbull who destroys most toys almost immediately, so I’m always skeptical when products claim to be “indestructible.” Most toys last maybe a few minutes in my house before pieces are everywhere.
These have actually held up surprisingly well.
The material feels durable and thick enough to handle really aggressive chewing, and so far my dog hasn’t been able to destroy them like he does with most other balls and squeaky toys. That alone makes these worth it to me.
I also really like the size. They’re large enough that I don’t have to constantly worry about him accidentally swallowing them or choking while playing, which is a huge plus for bigger dogs.
The squeaker inside also keeps him interested longer since he usually gets bored quickly with toys that don’t make noise or bounce around well.
If you have a strong chewer or larger dog and you’re tired of replacing destroyed toys constantly, these are definitely worth trying.

Excellent choice
Color: Red+Orange, Color: Red+Orange
I will skeptical when buying these because I have a pitbull bulldog that likes to chew holes in every toy. This is her favorite she choose on the ball, but she doesn’t actually ruin it because she can’t. It holds up one of the squeakers broke, but that’s expected I guess my wife actually ordered more. I’m not sure if it was from the same seller or not but those ones they don’t favor as much for some reason I seen the same different colors. My dog even sleeps with it sometimes. The picture shows for sleeping with it. I’m definitely happy. I got these. They are tough. I like the fact that they have those little recessed holes so they can grab a hold of it and not get it all slimy like the other balls we have.

GSD Winner
Color: Blue+Red
10/10 recommend for big dogs with a tough chew. Our GSD absolutely loves these squeaky balls. They have perfect texture for his teeth and for our grip. They are the size of a baseball and are so durable and fun. Yes the squeaky is LOUD but he loves them so much that it's cute
