-Chaya Deitsch, autora de Here and There: Leaving Hasidism, Keeping My Family-

-Publishers Weekly-
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A New York Post Best Book of 2016One of Kirkus Reviews' Ten Most Anticipated Nonfiction Books of Fall 2016From the New York Times bestselling author of The Widow Clicquot comes an extraordinary and gripping account of Irena Sendler--the "female Oskar Schindler"--who took staggering risks to save 2,500 children from death and deportation in Nazi-occupied Poland during World War II.In 1942, one young social worker, Irena Sendler, was granted access to the Warsaw ghetto as a public health specialist. While there, she reached out to the trapped Jewish families, going from door to door and asking the parents to trust her with their young children. She started smuggling them out of the walled district, convincing her friends and neighbors to hide them. Driven to extreme measures and with the help of a network of local tradesmen, ghetto residents, and her star-crossed lover in the Jewish resistance, Irena ultimately smuggled thousands of children past the Nazis. She made dangerous trips through the city's sewers, hid children in coffins, snuck them under overcoats at checkpoints, and slipped them through secret passages in abandoned buildings. But Irena did something even more astonishing at immense personal risk: she kept secret lists buried in bottles under an old apple tree in a friend's back garden. On them were the names and true identities of those Jewish children, recorded with the hope that their relatives could find them after the war. She could not have known that more than ninety percent of their families would perish. In Irena's Children, Tilar Mazzeo tells the incredible story of this courageous and brave woman who risked her life to save innocent children from the Holocaust--a truly heroic tale of survival, resilience, and redemption.

Great cotton t-shirts for girls and boys
Special Size: T Shirt, Size: 4-5T, Color: T Shirt - Toddler - 6 Pack - White
These say they are for boys. Really, they are just plain t-shirts. Bought and tie dyed for an adorable little girl in my life. Very soft, and the cotton absorbed the dye well. Recommended for all girls and boys.

Really good quality for everyday wear. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and the shirts are true to size. They hold up well after washing and don’t shrink. Perfect basic tees for kids — easy to mix and match and great value for the price.

Comfy and Cool Shark Shirt
Number of Items: 1, Color: Ivory Sharks, Size: X-Small
We live near the beach, so I love finding ocean themed clothing for my little grandson. He loves this colorful swimming sharks crew neck t-shirt. He says it looks "cool." The cotton blend material is soft and and gentle against his skin. It's breathable and slightly stretchy. . The stitching is straight and consistent with no loose threads. We have fun talking about the different sharks, and the shirt looks great with his everyday jeans, joggers, or shorts. If you want some growing room, I suggest ordering a size up. The 5T is just a little long and roomy in the shoulders for my grandson who usually wears size 4. For laundering, I turn the shirt inside out and wash on cold to preserve the print. I haven't noticed any shrinkage or fading. I've been drying it on a warm setting (though cool is ideal), but I’m pretty careful not to leave it in the dryer too long to avoid wrinkles. He's been wearing it since his birthday in February, and so far, it's kept its shape, and seems to resist stains. If you have a little one that loves sharks, this check out this comfy ocean themed crew neck.
