About This Class

Stitch Fixers is your project‑rescue session: bring any sewing challenge you’re facing and get hands‑on help. This class is designed for sewists who already know how to operate their machine, follow basic instructions, and sew simple seams. We’ll help diagnose issues, adjust techniques, and get your project moving again.

Please note: This is not a beginning sewing class.

If you’re brand new to sewing, you’ll have a much better experience starting with one of our beginner‑friendly options:

Sewing Basics 1‑Day Workshop

Beginning Sewing Bootcamp (2‑Day)

Each session is open‑format and student‑driven. You bring the project — Terri or Kim brings the expertise. From troubleshooting tricky seams to refining techniques, you’ll get the support you need to move forward with confidence.

What We’ll Cover

  • Project troubleshooting and technique support
  • Guidance on cutting, piecing, pressing, and construction
  • Help interpreting pattern instructions
  • Tips for accuracy, efficiency, and finishing
  • Encouragement, problem‑solving, and creative solutions

What to Bring

  • Your sewing machine – you must know how to use it
  • Pattern instructions and pieces
  • Project materials (fabric, thread, etc.)
  • General sewing supplies (pins, rulers, marking tools, etc.)

This is a required text for Internet Law classes. It is edited very poorly. There are typos on every other page, and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition).
