8.6” Carbon-Aluminium Tonearm

The Debut PRO B features Pro-Ject’s coveted Carbon-Aluminium one-piece tonearm technology. The 8.6” tube is incredibly light and rigid, utilising the lightweight, sturdy characteristics of carbon fibre, and combining it with aluminium for its added damping properties and better electrical shielding. The result is a super-stiff, uniquely damped tonearm that tracks your records perfectly. The pre-installed Ortofon Pick It PRO B MM cartridge offers "true-balanced" output compatibility, making it easy to pair with XLR-compatible Pro-Ject preamps for cleaner sound with even less noise and interference.

Style and substance

The Debut PRO B isn't just finely tuned — it's incredibly sleek. The heavy-duty, MDF plinth has been hand-painted with eight layers of black, satin paint, giving it a premium, luxurious finish. All of the aluminium components are nickel-plated to reduce resonance and further enhance the stunning design. This turntable is beautiful to look at and built to last.

High quality engineering

Pro-Ject designed the die-cast aluminium, anti-magnetic platter with a ring of thermoplastic material on the underside, eliminating unwanted vibrations that may occur during playback. Additionally, since motor vibrations can be a concern, Pro-ject has implemented an advanced motor suspension to effectively isolate the motor from the plinth. Three, height adjustable metal feet provide the perfect base for the Debut PRO B. These not only help level the turntable but, thanks to the integral damping, help isolate the deck from surface vibrations, too.

The platter speed is electronically controlled, ensuring precise and stable performance. Switching between 33 and 45 RPM is easy with a simple toggle switch. For older 78 RPM records, Pro-Ject include a special drive belt. (a 78 RPM cartridge is also required such as the Ortofon 2M 78).
