Rosso rubino brillante; emergono note di ciliegia, lampone, mora, profumi floreali e tocchi di sottobosco e spezie. Al sorso si rivela fruttato, fresco, dal tannino ben integrato.

Fruttato ed elegante, il Beaune Premier Cru Clos du Rois, realizzato in Borgogna da Domaine Roux, è ottenuto esclusivamente da uve pinot noir provenienti da un cru che si estende per pochi ettari. La vendemmia è rigorosamente manuale; dopo un'accurata selezione avviene la fermentazione in acciaio, seguita da una sosta di oltre un'anno in botti di rovere e un ulteriore affinamento di alcuni mesi in bottiglia.

Ottimo in abbinamento a primi piatti a base di funghi, accompagna egregiamente le carni bianche alla brace e i formaggi di media stagionatura.
