Lion's Mane Mushrooms (Hericium erinaceus) grow in long icicle-like bunches, which later grow in to large ball shapes. Lion's Mane mushrooms are also commonly called Hedgehog Mushrooms, Satyr's Beard, Bearded Tooth, & Pom Pom Mushrooms. Each kit includes a mycelium-infused substrate growing medium and detailed growing instructions. This kit has the potential for 2 to 3 harvests.

Grow in a 65-75° F environment for best results. These mushrooms have often been believed to be great for the digestive system and even is said to help regulate blood glucose levels. Great as a medicinal food or as a substitute for lamb, pork or seafood in many dishes, especially Asian recipes.

These mushrooms are perfect for introducing people to mushrooms flavors other than the common white button mushrooms, but they also have many health benefits, including being just as dense in protein as meat and providing excellent benefits to the immune system. The required temperature range for your kit is 50-75F°. You can harvest fresh mushrooms about once per month.
