Unveiled by Ferrari in July 2025 and sold at the Monterey Car Week charity auction in August, the striking two-tone Tailor Made #600 is an additional example to Ferrari’s original limited edition 599-unit allocation of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 – a car encapsulating the spirit of the classic sport prototypes from the 1960’s golden era of close wheel racing and the second car to join Ferrari’s ‘Icona’ series. Designed to pay homage to Ferrari’s mid-rear-engine V12s that earned the marque its unparalleled motorsport status, this V12 two-seater car is fuelled by the memories of the spectacular 1-2-3 result for Ferrari in the 24 Hours of Daytona race during the 1967 World Sports Car Championship.

Striking Charity Auction Livery

This fine model of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 replicates the distinctive two-tone livery of the special chassis #600 unveiled by Ferrari for the Monterey Car Week charity auction in 2025, a one-of-a-kind additional example to the original limited edition 599-unit production run. Showcasing the full breadth of the Tailor Made department in Maranello, #600 features an exposed carbon fibre finish and vibrant Giallo Modena exterior, with the full-length Ferrari logotype stretched longitudinally across its body, marking the first time it has ever been displayed in this way. Eye-catching details include the glossy black finish of the front splitter, sills and rear diffuser, whilst inside, the interior material is derived from recycled tyres and characterised by the Prancing Horse motif; the car’s dashboard and steering wheel column are composed of the carbon-fibre used in Formula 1, drawing on Ferrari’s exceptional racing history and expertise. This bold vehicle sold for an astonishing $26 million, breaking the record for the highest value that a new Ferrari has ever achieved at auction, with proceeds benefitting educational programmes and community projects across the globe through The Ferrari Foundation.

Racing Technology

At the heart of the Daytona SP3 lies its F140HC, the most powerful internal combustion engine that Ferrari has ever built. This mid-rear-mounted naturally aspirated V12 is capable of delivering 840 cv and adopts the architecture of the F140HB sported in the 812 Competizione, inheriting its upgrades. With the ability reaching 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.85 seconds and 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in just 7.4 seconds, alongside a maximum speed of 211 (340 km/h), it is evident that this car been designed with the essence of racing spirit.

Sculpted Architecture

This essence has also been deeply incorporated into the car architecture, with the intent of creating harmony between the driver and the car. With the same aim to reduce weight as in the LaFerrari, the seats have been integrated into the chassis, optimising driving position and promoted the feeling of a single-seater car. The chassis and body shell are made entirely from the composite material, technology that was deriving from Formula 1, creating excellent weight and structural rigidity. Pirelli helped develop the car’s new tyres, the new P Zero Corsa, to optimise them for both dry and wet performance ensuring stability in low grip situations.

The Icona series is design-driven, celebrating Ferrari’s history by reinterpreting the styling of the marque’s most iconic cars to radically modern effect. The Daytona SP3 is inspired by many of the legendary Ferrari cars from golden era of closed-wheel motorsport, but particularly by the memorably choreographed 330 P3/4, 330 P4 and 412 P that took the chequered flag side by side in 1967. The Daytona SP3’s overall balance is underscored by monolithic volumes that are a powerful articulation of the long-appreciated skills of Italian coachbuilding at its finest. The fluidity of its masses melds effortlessly with sharper surfaces, to produce the sense of effortless aesthetic balance that has long been a signature of Maranello’s design history.

This fine 1:8 scale model of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 has been handcrafted and finished in our workshops using CAD directly from Ferrari’s design office allowing us to perfectly recreate every detail at scale. Finally, the prototype model has undergone detailed scrutiny by Ferrari’s engineering and design teams to ensure complete accuracy of representation.

The Tailor Made #600 version of Ferrari Daytona SP3 is limited to just 9 pieces.

Good Coverage But...
Asurion had me to package up my Ipad and send to them to research the problem with it overheating and cracking the screen near the home button. The turnaround was about 6 days from when i shipped it next day and them returning the device. When I began to setup the IPad the first thing I notice was an error message stating touch id could not be setup on the device (it worked previously) and the ipad still got hot when charging. I had to return it to them a second time to "resolve" the issue. They determined they couldn't fix the issue and returned the cost of the device. The only problem is you can't replace a device for what it cost at that time of purchase, especially now when prices have soared. They need to fix or replace the device at the cost of what iit costs at the time of replacement.

They sent me a Amazon gift card
I insured an iPad for my son and had it repaired multiple times from him stepping on it. Quick and fast repairs. The last time he accidentally damaged it they sent me an Amazon gift card for the full price I originally paid for it. I was able to use the gift card right away because it was digital. I used it on an iPad that was on sale for half the original price so I was able to get him the night light he always wanted. Best service available and I insured this iPad right away with them.

They will do anything to get out of fixing or replacing your item.
I bought a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tablet S6 from Amazon through Affirm. I've already had the tablet for nearly 3 months. The tablet is defective. After barely 3 months it won't charge. I attempted to file a claim. The Asurion website tells me to return the item. Samsung doesn't make these tablets anymore. You cannot buy a brand new tablet of this model. They aren't sold online. The reason I bought the warranty which was over $100 is so that Asurion will fix the tablet if there is a problem. They were unwilling to make any effort to repair or fix this rare tablet. The website says to return the item. This is a lengthy return process. Amazon will not give me a QR code or let me print a label that I can take to a local UPS store. The only place Amazon will let me drop off the item is 2 or 3 towns away. The only option Amazon is giving me is to have UPS come pick up the tablet without giving me a label. I had to purchase a box from UPS and have them package it for me without providing me a label because Amazon says I don't need one. On the first attempt the UPS guy wasn't able to pickup the item because they need a special kind of form and my UPS driver didn't have the form. I have to wait until a UPS driver with the proper form is able to pick up my item before they can start the return process. Now I can't buy a Samsung Galaxy Tablet S6 from Amazon unless I want to go through this or a similar process every time an Amazon 3rd party seller sells me a defective product. Thanks for nothing Asurion. I'm going to start buying my electronics in person from Best Buy. They sell electronics that work and they immediately replace damaged and defective items that are under warranty. Amazon should ban Asurion from selling warranties on their website. They are selling warranties that they have no intention of providing the end product for. This is the second I've had a problem with Asurion. The first time I had a problem with a pair of headphones purchased through Amazon that were covered by my Asurion warranty that I had purchased. Asurion wouldn't help me and directed me to try and use the manufacturer warranty. When I buy a warranty from someone it's because I want the seller of the warranty to solve my problem. Not tell me to return the item or direct me to use the manufacturer warranty. It's not my fault the refurbisher couldn't make the tablet function properly for longer than 3 months.
