The Afghan Jade found there is translucent to opaque and has a wide colour range including white, light to dark green, yellow, black and pink.

Cats are beloved companion animals. Cats carry an air of mystery. They are admired for their piercing eyes and graceful movements. They convey an uncanny awareness and intuition. Afghan Jade is a form of Serpentine (Bowenite) named after the neighbouring country where it is also found. Serpentine is the name given to a group of magnesium-based asbestos and silicate minerals found in the larger Serpentinite family of minerals. It is formed through plate tectonics and is found on every continent. This stone is all about Kundalini awakening. Serpentine means ‘stone snake’. Serpentine provides powerful healing energy and is linked to our Kundalini energy. When dormant, Kundalini energy lies coiled at the base of the spine. Its release is transformative.
