The FUJI Racing oil separator plate is the perfect addition when rebuilding your EJ Series engine or when installing a new clutch and flywheel.
The oil separator plate is located on the rear of the engine block and can be seen when the gearbox / bell housing is removed.
Many Subaru EJ boxer engines were fitted with a plastic separator plate from factory (which over time tend to leak due to fatigue caused by age and heat cycles). Later on in the EJ’s history presumably Subaru realised the problem and switched to a thin pressed cover as a more reliable alternative.
The FUJI Racing oil separator plate is based on a very early design that Subaru initially produced which featured a far thicker wall of material, allowing a more uniformed pressure to be applied across the sealing face providing a leak free solution for years to come.
Given the accessibility of removing and installing a new Oil separator plate, many consider it a job which you would only want to carry out once.
In addition to providing leak free certainty for years to come the FUJI separator plate also looks as good as it performs.
Produced from T6061 Alloy, the plate is then hand polished and anodised to provide the perfect finish, before being granted the laser etched logo of approval.
Kit includes

- 1 x T6061 Billet oil separator cover
- 6 x Counter sunk separator cover bolts
- 1 x T6061 Billet Piston pin cover
- 2 x Counter sunk piston pin cover bolts
- 1 x Piston pin cover viton o-ring seal
NOTE: We recommend using thread lock on the end of each bolt to provide a secure seal.
