The ARIES AdvantEDGE headache rack offers a unique look and extra protection for your pickup truck. It is distinguished by two key features: an eight-sided tube profile and an all-aluminum construction. Armed with a rock-solid mounting system, an octagonal grid center section and two finish options, the AdvantEDGE headache rack has your back. The all-aluminum construction allows it to protect your truck cab and easily resist the elements. Unlike the more common round and square tube frames of most headache racks, it is built with an octagonal tube profile. This not only supplies it with strength but also offers a look that better complements the style of modern pickup trucks. Because it is made entirely from aluminum, the AdvantEDGE headache rack is also very lightweight and completely resilient to rust. The AdvantEDGE headache rack also features a unique dual track system along the top edge. This provides a flexible mounting point for aftermarket lights, such as an LED light bar, as well as tie-down anchors and other accessories. The AdvantEDGE headache rack is available in two finish options -- carbide black powder coat or chrome powder coat -- for a custom look to complement the style of your truck. Installation is easy with its patented anchoring system. Successfully bridging the gap between Bible Study Guide and Graduate level hermeneutics
Format: Hardcover
As the tag line of my review suggests, this book is more than just another Bible study guide, but not a Graduate level text on hermeneutics. That is the stated goal of the authors, and I do believe they achieved that goal very successfully. I am not a trained theologian. I am just a Christian layman who wants to understand how to properly interpret the Word of God, using a systematic approach that is consistent and faithful to the Reformed Protestant traditions. This book is helping me get there, as long as I am ready to put in the work that comes with the content. I'll let the authors themselves describe what they mean by that...
"Plunging into the Word of God is similar to sitting down at a meal. We expect to eat something nourishing, something substantial, and something appropriate to our maturity level. We want to dig into the real meat. But often we are able only to come up with baby food—soft mush for infants. This is not a reflection on the Word of God, which is loaded with meat, but rather a reflection on us and our inability to extract the meat and enjoy it. Indeed, some Christians have become so accustomed to baby food that they no longer desire the stronger food. What about you? Do you long to dig deeper into God’s Word? Do you long for a more substantial diet? Our goal in this book is to help you to 'eat well.' ... God wants to have deeper and more mature conversations with you, but if you are tied to superficial and surface readings of the Bible or if you always assume that you have already seen and understood all there is, then your relationship with God will tend to stay at the same level. ... If you want to hear and understand some of the deep and wonderful truths that God has placed in Scripture for you—if you desire to pull out of God’s Word some of the serious 'meat' he has placed there for us to sink our teeth into—you will have to exert considerable effort. It takes work—hard work! And you, the reader, have to decide whether you are content with shallow 'baby food' that comes from casual reading or you want to work for the 'mature food' that comes from serious reading."

Highly Recommended
Format: Hardcover
If you are interested in rightly interpreting the Bible I highly recommend this book! It is easy to read and understand. It has "assignments" for each chapter to practice what you've read. It takes you step-by-step on the methodology used by theologians to understand the meaning of scriptures in context, letting scripture interpret scripture. Excellent book!
